Photos by Nicola HargerI got these images back from Nicola Harger and sat in the floor of my office smiling looking back on the day. I don’t always get to see all of the moments and take them in until I see the pictures because I am assisting in multiple areas during events. I love looking back on the day and reflecting on all of the details and planning that went into every decision. From the linen, to the calligraphy-they are all choices that my couple made with my assistance, and that friends is THE BEST feeling! Everything at this wedding was so full of love, tenderness, friendships, and family. The ceremony took place at The Cordelle in Nashville. Guests enjoyed pre-ceremony music from former Nashville symphony members, followed by an intimate ceremony. After that, guests were ushered to the lawn for a fun group photo and then enjoyed cocktail hour and hors D’ Oeuvres as sting music continued. The guests were then invited inside as the couple performed a special dance they learned from taking dance lessons throughout their engagement. They enjoyed a family style dinner and then music and dancing. The couple opted for soft seating for a lounge type feel as a coffee and tea station was enjoyed by many guests. The cake was 3 different flavors, so guests really enjoyed picking out what flavor they wanted! At the end of the evening, the couple was sent out by glow sticks. They went on their honeymoon the following day to Grenada where they enjoyed different activities as newlyweds. Cheers to Laken and Matthew!
